Ezekiel 36:26
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."
This is the spiritual transformation promised in the new covenant. Instead of the law working from the outside in (Which Jesus came to fulfill the law because we could not), God promised a new heart to work from the inside out. The Lord is so faithful and good and he gives us a heart of flesh, a heart that wants to be submitted to Him. When our hearts desire to love him, obey him, and honor him, our actions begin to reflect our love for him. When we begin to live our life for Jesus and allow Him to guide our steps, our life becomes filled with new levels of growth, peace that surpasses all understanding, and a joy that can not be taken away. Jesus is the source of all life and he is still restoring hearts of stone today!
